Saundersfoot Sailing Club members regularly run and support events within the village all year round, so we feel it is very important that we have members available at these events who are well prepared for any First Aid emergencies that may arise.
We ran a First Aid training course for 10 members this spring, happy to say all achieved RYA accreditation. This ensures they are confident and capable of assisting in an emergency, although we hope they are few.
The Sailing Club was extremely grateful for the wonderful support from Saundersfoot Community Council again this year, for providing the funds to fully cover the cost of this training, which will help to ensure that events in the village have access to more First Aid cover.
